MOBE, The Upsell Scam
Is My Online Business Empire a scam or is it a legitimate making money from home opportunity, well I think the heading gives it away. In this review, I’ll be going exactly why I say that it is and why you should stay as far away from this as possible.
I’ll be showing how Matt Lloyd and his team at MOBE have been tricking people who are after something as simple as learning how to make money from home and getting them to spend over $10,000s on this program.
They prey on the unknowing minds of people seeking to achieve wealth from a full-time income online. These greedy people must be exposed, tell your friends, tell your family, share this review, do whatever it takes.
Now onto my review.
The Pros/Cons of My Online Business Empire
- High Commissions (Earned from convincing others to shell out the thousands you did)
- You are able to meet and become friends with others trying to scam people
- Some average training
- Tons and tons of upsells
- You are required to buy highly overpriced products
- You’re pretty much just buying these products so you can sell them
- The support you supposedly get is poor which is not what is claimed in their promotional video
- “Community” is well below what is expected for something so overpriced
- There is hardly any focus on creating an actual business
- You are originally told all you need to pay to start earning is $49 and after only the 5th out of 21 lessons you then have to pay $1,997
- COMPLETE SCAM
Who Is My Online Business Empire For?
This program is quite honestly for anyone who has the large sum of money you have to shell out along with the time and energy to try to scam other people the same way you were.
The aim of this program seems to be to try to get people to join and scam them into buying expensive products and then in turn get them to scam others into buying the same products thus creating a cycle that needs to be stopped!
The people who benefit the most from this program are Matt Lloyd and his team at MOBE. The users of this program don’t receive much of an education of what it takes on how to run a successful business.
What Do You Do As A Member?
This is a good question.
One would think that with the name of this program you would be taught to build your online business empire. So does it actually accomplish that?
Not exactly! This is one of the many MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) Schemes that involve you buying into them which typically involves blowing $1,000s so that you then have the so called “right” to promote what you bought into to other people to try to get them to the same. Doesn’t sound too good, does it? This program is so full of red flags its unbelievable.
So back to the question at hand, are you taught to build your online business empire? NOPE! You are not taught the true ways to succeed online, not taught how to build a business around a niche you are interested in or how to promote your local business. You are only told to buy more products and then taught how to sell others into joining this scam known as my online business empire.
So yes an all around scam which sadly is not the only one of its kind as many take the same form and are all around the internet. It’s just crazy to think how Matt tries to convince you that $49 is all you need to start earning.
What a liar! I’ll show you exactly how big of a lie he tells with these prices, you’re gonna want to see this..
Do They Have A Responsive Support Team? Can Matt Be Directly Contacted?
One would hope that a “service” as highly priced as this one there would at least be a reliable support team. It saddens me to see that he couldn’t even do that right. See below for his response to complaints about his poor support service.
At least he was honest there which normally would be respected but not in this case, not when dealing with a program that’s costing people $1,000s.
One would think he would’ve at least invested into having a community of help within their back office but sadly not. They have created a Facebook group as their intended community. Yes, you read that correctly. This itself is shady behavior since he has not invested anything into building support channels but instead heavily using a FREE social network that anyone can do. See for yourself:
This is without a shadow of a doubt far below what you should be getting after invested so much money into a service. It should be way more than a thrown together Facebook group. However, you can find Matt himself on rare occasion if you need help trying to scam others. Sadly this group is only filled with people misleading other people.
How Much Does MOBE Cost?
Similarly to the rest of these MLM also known as Pyramid schemes, it’s more than evident that they are only interested in putting more money in their pockets and not helping the people they continue to trick into joining this mess of a program.
Below is a list of the products that are REQUIRED of you to buy if you want even the slightest chance of getting anywhere with this program. Just also bare in mind like you expect from a scam these products are not promoted outside of the program because of course this would deter people from joining at a rapid rate.
$1997 MOBE License Rights (Full Program) – If you care to join Matt’s program you are going to be asked to pay all of that money just for a program (can be divided into 4 payments of $597). This gives you a full license to My Online Business Empire which then allows you to promote this crap to others in hopes of making back your money. However, there is some training included:
- MOBE Licensee Course
- My Online Business Empire (8 hours)
- Funded Proposal (17 hours of training)
- Affiliate Bonus (11 hours of training)
- OPT formula (14 hours of training)
What I find funny is that they expect you to try to rip other people off and they make you pay for the products to do it. That is beyond messed up. This is a list of the products you can earn a 90% commission from if you choose to purchase:
- $97 per month – Inner Circle Membership
- $97 per month – MOBE Elite Earners
- $97 per month – Done For You Emails
- $194 – My Email Marketing Empire
- $194 – OPT Formula (Outsourcing Formula)
- $291 – Affiliate Bonus Domination
- $194 – Funded Proposal
- $9.95 – IM Revolution Handbook
Of course as the case is with a scam of this magnitude there are MORE products available in this program. These are the MOBE products you will earn 50% commissions with:
- $1997 – 10,000 Leads in 100 Days
- $997 – Online Income Revolution194-+194+
- $997 – The 90 Day Challenge
- $997 – Six Figure Coaching Secrets
- $997 – Add the Nitrous
- $4,997 – Diamond Coaching Program ($1,200 commission)
- $8,997 – Titanium Mastermind
Just take notice that the lower costing products offer you a 90% commission and the higher costing ones offer 50%.
So let’s just do the math on what the full price of this program would come to. You are looking at a $291 monthly which you have to pay even if you aren’t making any money. Next, the total cost of the products you need to purchase to make a commission from (either 50% or 90%) is $20,861.95. Let’s not forget the original $2046 needed to just get started. That totaled together goes well beyond $23,000. Are you kidding me Matt Lloyd?! It just hurts me to see people trying to scam good folks out of their hard earned money let alone an amount this high that they could’ve made used to make a down payment on a HOUSE all for the smoke and mirrors he is promoting. This picture below blows my mind so much more.
So basically he wants you to pay him $23,000+ for a chance to make over $2,000. No Thank You!
My Final Thoughts On MOBE
Name: My Online Business Empire (MOBE)
Owner: Matt Lloyd
Price: $49 + 19mth + upsells and more upsells
Overall Rank: 1/10
VERDICT: EPIC SCAM, very little value in product, way too many upsells, very expensive, ponzi-like scheme.
I truly hope you stay far away from Matt and his program as possible and make sure you share this with your family and friends. Feel free to leave me any questions about this program and also if you have your own personal review of your experience with MOBE or Matt Lloyd, then please share your thoughts in the comment section below.
